Careers

BYU School Health Education graduates seek careers teaching health in the secondary schools in combination with a chosen minor.  With an advanced degree, career teaching positions at institutions of higher learning become accessible.

Entry level salaries range from about $32,000 to $52,000 depending on the state in which you choose to teach.

Job opportunities are good. The department has had excellent success in placing the majority of graduates in teaching positions or in graduate programs.
